Obtaining credit at TAFE for your university degree - TAFE SA to Uni Credit Transfer 

Not only does TAFE SA offer a pathway to university, it offers credit transfers, which means that some of our course areas cross over with the study units in some university degrees. This in turn will reduce the amount of time you need to study your chosen profession. TAFE SA has many credit transfer agreements with universities for TAFE SA graduates, which can shorten the time it takes to complete the University program or lighten the load in any one year.

Two qualifications are better than one
Did you know it is possible get a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from TAFE SA and a degree from university in the same amount of time it takes to complete a degree on its own?

This is known as a Dual Award. It combines a practical Diploma or Advanced Diploma with a theoretical university degree and it works like this.

Firstly you will need to complete the diploma part of the course and then move onto university to complete the degree component.
Studying in this way:

• guarantees you a place in both courses at the same time with only one SATAC application
• allows you to obtain both practical skills and theoretical knowledge in your chosen profession
• will save you time and money by gaining two qualifications in a similar time frame needed for a degree only
