This course contains pre-reading material that we strongly recommend that you complete prior to attending your face-to-face class.

The reading material includes information that is designed to give participants the underpinning knowledge on what is first aid, how to recognise and respond to an emergency, legal considerations, assessment of emergency - primary and secondary,  DRSABCD, CPR and care of the unconscious casualty.

This underpinning knowledge will assist in preparing you for the practical sessions which you will need undertake to complete this training.
