Please read the details below carefully to understand the Gap training and assessing requirements.
Students who previously completed the MYOB units (FNSACM301, FNSACM302, FNACM303) as part of their Certificate III in Financial Services – FNS30115 which need to complete some gap training as these units are not equivalent to the MYOB new units in the FNS30120 qualification. The new units are:· FNSACM311 – Process and Manage Payments
· FNSACM312 – Reconcile Financial Transactions
· FNSACM313 – Process Authorised Transactions
Students will be required to undertake some assessments in the additional topics that were not covered in the original units.
The assessments
consist of a verbal assessment and practical MYOB assessment.
The details are:
Verbal Assessment
Students are required to listen to audio recordings and respond using audio recordings (4 tasks) to demonstrate that they can:
· Determine customer requirements, confirm information required to allocate payments and deal with customer complaints.
· Investigate unmatched payments, correct details, and follow up concerns about incorrect payment allocation.
· Process over and underpayments received
· Allocate payments to suppliers using the correct expense account and follow up payments not displaying on the bank statement.
· Identify and follow payment system security requirements
· Provide knowledge of the ePayments code and banking code of practice
Students will be required to follow the organisational policies and procedures.
Practical Assessment
Students will be required to open an existing MYOB file and complete the following:
· Create and issue receipts, apply discounts and fees
· Adjust accounts, invoices and payments
· Process six different payments to correct accounts and investigate incorrect payment allocations
· Identify data discrepancies
· Record and allocate payments to suppliers using the correct expense account
· Use three different payment systems
They will also have to complete 2 bank reconciliations and follow the organisational policies and procedures.
To undertake the Gap Assessments, you will be required to apply for the RPL.

2. Following this you will be emailed the information on how to access the RPL site within 4-5 business days.

Detailed information about the RPL assessments
will be available on the online Learn platform.
On the successful completion of the RPL assessments you will be required to pay the RPL fee attached to these respective units.
