TAFE SA offers a range of fee payment options to suit all learners' needs and budgets. 

  • Pay As You GoThe faculty highly recommends a 'pay as you go' approach, that is paying for a 'module' or part of course fees at the time of each part of course enrolment, enabling payment of course fees to be spread throughout the duration of the training.
  • Fees by Instalment arrangement: Where fees total more than $250 at the time of enrolment a fees by instalment payment plan can be arranged.  Regular weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payment schedules can be agreed upon, spreading payments out across the duration of the course.  Course fees must be paid in full within 80% of the duration of the course enrolment.
  • VET FEE Help: VET FEE-HELP is available for Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications.  It is an income-contingent loan scheme that assists eligible students to pay for all or part of their Vocational Education and Training (VET) tuition fees when studying one or more eligible VET courses. TAFE SA is an approved VET provider under the VET FEE-HELP Assistance Scheme. 
  • Third Party payments:   Payments may be made by a third party such as an employer on behalf of the student.  Payments can be made online with details provided on the account statement.
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Fees: Applications for RPL are invoiced at a reduced fee rate for the assessment of each unit of competency applied for.Payment in full of RPL fees must be made prior to RPL being processed to the academic record.
Note:Fees must be paid in full or a fees-by-instalment arrangement in place prior to course activation and release of course materials.
