You can apply for RPL in just a few easy steps:

1. Complete the on-line self-assessment application and select the unit/s of competency you wish to apply for
   
2. We will activate you in your chosen unit/s in TAFE SA Learn, our on-line training platform, and email you the login details  
   
3. Log into the on-line self-assessment and follow the steps provided.  This may include uploading documents of evidence such as your current resume, letter from employer, existing certificates etc).  You may also be required to match evidence against the competency, complete multiple choice questions and/or complete and submit an assignment.
   
4. We will assess your application to determine if the required outcomes and criteria have been satisfied. If further evidence is required, you will be contacted by phone for an interview or to collect other forms of evidence.
   
5. If your application is successful you will be notified and your result/s will be added to your qualification in your academic record. An academic transcript will also be posted to you.
   
6. If your application is unsuccessful you may be offered a "fast-track option" to fill the skills gaps, or we may recommended you formally enrol in the unit. It's up to you and which option suits your needs.
