There are three categories of assessments:
1. Compulsory Online Quizzes and Activities
Compulsory online quizzes and
activities may include multiple choice questions, short answer questions,
essays, portfolios and case studies. These assessments must be completed before
attempting the final assessment(s). These assessments will not be graded but
they are compulsory to satisfy the unit requirements.
2. Unsupervised Assessment
Students able to complete the unsupervised assessment(s) at home and submit to their Facilitator for marking on Moodle.
3. Supervised Assessment
There are two kind of supervised assessments –
Written Assessment -
Students will be required to sit a 3 hour open book assessment under the supervision of a TAFE SA staff member or an approved invigilator. The assessment may include multiple choice questions, short answer questions, essays and case studies. Students are able to complete their supervised assessment(s) at home using the TAFE SA online assessment supervision facility or at a TAFE SA approved location.

Oral Assessment –
Students are required to complete the oral assessment with the Lecturer through the Skype video chat. Students are able to complete their Oral supervised assessment(s) at home using the TAFE SA online assessment.
