Bachelor of Business, Diploma of Accounting, Master of Business Administration and Master of Education.

Ian teaches financial accounting, audit and controls, budgeting and corporate reporting units for TAFE SA.

He has lectured undergraduate accounting and business subjects for Flinders University, University of South Australia, and Edith Cowan University. Ian has also taught post-graduate students in strategic finance and financial management subjects in the MBA program of the Australian Institute of Business.

Ian’s academic interests are in external reporting, financial strategies and management. He also enjoys being involved in our international students programs, and also in efforts to forge stronger links with TAFE SA and the university sector.

Prior to working in vocational education, Ian spent 7 years as a Corporate Services Manager and then Deputy CEO in the local government sector.
