Since the early 1990s, Trisha has worked across State and Local Government in South Australia in project management and policy roles. Trisha was one of the first Environmental Officers in Local Government in the early 90s working at the City of Burnside. This was followed by a move to State Government managing training, policy and project management with the South Australian Environment Protection Agency, the Department for Environment and Natural Resources, SA Water and the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
In the late 90s, Trisha wrote and delivered a Sustainability Awareness Program to eleven metropolitan Councils as part of a capacity building program for Local Government. From 2003 to 2007, Trisha was the Sustainability Manager at SA Water, developing and implementing sustainability strategy, policy and programs aimed at moving the organisation towards sustainability.  In an effort to better understand the key economic drivers, from 2007 Trisha Drioli worked as a stockbroker in Adelaide, providing investment advice to retail investors and watching first-hand the unravelling of the global economy in the global financial crisis.
Trisha teaches Climate Science and Sustainability at UNISA and is focused on understanding the interactions between social, economic and ecological factors. Trisha currently teaches in the Certificate of Government Compliance at TAFE SA.
