Graduated from University of Adelaide in 1996 with LLB(Hons) and B.Comm. 

He then worked for Australian Government Solicitor until July 1998 when he joined the Australian Taxation Office as Civil Litigation Officer until 2006.  Moved to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission as Senior Lawyer, Enforcement Branch until retirement in 2011.

He has been a Tutor in Evidence Law at Flinders Law School from 2012 and commenced tutoring in Business Law at Flinders University in 2016.
