Course Overview

This qualification provides the skills to develop business documents, apply the principles of accounting, prepare business tax calculations, process everyday business transactions, prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) to the Australian Tax Office (ATO) and process payroll using MYOB AccountRight software. 

This qualification is designed to satisfy the Australian Tax Practitioners Board educational requirements to work as a registered BAS Agent or Bookkeeper.

This qualification also presents a pathway to completing the Diploma of Accounting in order to become a Registered Tax Agent.
