Course Overview

This qualification is designed to develop expertise in budget preparation, management accounting, financial accounting, financial performance, internal control systems, income tax and financial analysis skills.

The Diploma of Accounting is a pathway for Business, Accounting, Commerce and Finance university degree qualifications. Students will receive a maximum of twelve months credit on successful completion of the Diploma of Accounting.

The Diploma of Accounting satisfies the Australian Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) educational requirements to register as a registered Tax Agent. To fulfil the educational criteria required to become a Registered Tax Agent students must choose an additional three Commercial Law electives.
