Course Overview
This qualification is designed to develop expertise in budget preparation, management accounting, financial accounting, financial performance, internal control systems, income tax, financial analysis, economic principles, financial statistics and corporate governance.
The Advanced Diploma of Accounting is a pathway for Business, Accounting, Commerce and Finance university degree qualifications. Students will receive a maximum of eighteen months credit on successful completion of the Advanced Diploma of Accounting.
The Advanced Diploma of Accounting satisfies the Australian Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) educational requirements to register as a registered Tax Agent. To fulfil the education criteria required to become a Registered Tax Agent students must choose an additional two Commercial Law electives.
